About me:
I hope this finds you all in the best of health and imaan. My name is Raeesa and I will be inshallah travelling to Lebanon to distribute humanitarian aid to those that need it most. With the help of your humble donations we will be able to distribute aid far and wide! What am I fundraising for?
As medical centres throughout Lebanon face shortages of basic supplies, in a time where a lack of healthcare can be a death sentence we continue to reassess the most urgent needs to provide humanitarian aid. As a result right now we are delivering essential medical supplies in Saida, Beirut, Bekaa, North Lebanon and Baalbek.
This school year, we will be providing 360 Syrian children in Lebanon with education in Sawasia and Al Rahma teaching centres in Bekaa. The children will study in accordance with the Lebanese curriculum, learning Maths, Arabic, English, and Science, and will also have the opportunity to work on their creative and computing skills. With 18 staff members, we’ll also provide psychosocial support and health awareness campaigns.
How you can help?
£60-Provide a nutritious food parcel to feed a family for a month.
£30 – Provide a family with 2 bread deliveries per week for two months.
Help me support refugees on this deployment where you will see me delivering the aid myself Inshallah alongside my other team members.
