Salaamalykum,

Our beloved Ami, Mrs Dewan Begum (02/01/1942-27/01/2021) sadly passed away from coronavirus. We would like to establish Sadaqah Jariyah in her name.

Ami was an amazing woman, the heart of her family, a fantastic cook and most importantly had strong imaan.

We will be collecting money to distribute free Qurans in The Gambia, in particular the villages where they are required the most. Inshallah each time someone reads the Quran, Allah will bless Ami with rewards in the the hereafter.

Each Quran will cost approximately £3.50. Please donate whatever you can even if it is one Quran.

100% of your donations will be used to purchase the Qurans.

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: “When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah; knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him “ (Muslim).
