Last 12-14th September I completed a Paddock Wood to Bruges sponsored cycle ride, 240 miles from Kent to Belgium, for the benefit of Action for A-T, the charity funding our Genome Editing project (https://actionforat.org/crispr). I had a fantastic time and altogether we raised around £140,000 for the charity.

September last year, when we had a house party to celebrate Doreen's 60th and my professorship, we suggested to people to make donations to several charities including Action for A-T rather than to bring presents.
