Thank you for visiting this page. On Saturday 18th May I completed the Ride Scorpion 2019 sponsored cycle ride, 66 miles from Great Missenden to Ilmington, for the benefit of Spinal Muscular Atrophy UK, one of the charities funding research in my lab (through the UK SMA Research Consortium, https://smauk.org.uk/developing-treatments-for-all-with-sma).

Last September, when we had a house party to celebrate Doreen's 60th and my professorship, we suggested to people to make donations to several charities including The SMA Trust (now renamed SMA UK) rather than to bring presents.
