We would like to dedicate this page in the loving memory of our parents, S. Jasmer Singh Rai and Bibi Mohinder Kaur Rai, who instilled in us the spirit of Giving. Both of them came from highly academic backgrounds and the importance of education was always at the forefront of the core family values. The pursuit of education was also embedded with the principles of doing good for others, helping the helpless.
Although our parents were always teaching us the Sikh values, however unlike today, there was no access to have formal Punjabi schooling to learn about our great heritage. Through this mission we would like to help provide opportunities to others who otherwise might miss out on a basic human right to education.
 Kalgidhar Trust, under Baba Iqbal Singh Ji has made remarkable progress in their short 35 years. Starting with 5 children they are now providing education to nearly 70,000 students, out of which 28,000 are receiving free or aided schooling through a network of 129 schools and 3 Universities. The overall projects run by Kalgidhar Trust are numerous to mention on this page.
There is much to do for humanity in any time and age but even more so now to help overcome the Covid-19 crisis. Like many hands make lighter work, many feet make the journey shorter!!
