Love to run! Love to run even more when it’s for a reason. For me, one of the biggest injustices in the world is Cancer, and even more so in children!

This year all my sports activities (marathons, half marathons, Iron Man, triathlons, etc) will be to raise awareness, fundraise and support the charity Children with Cancer UK. They actively raise and invest money for vital specialist research to save the lives of every child with cancer and keep their family together. My vision, along with theirs, is a world where every child diagnosed with cancer gets to ring their end of cancer treatment bell.

The end of treatment bell is a feature on most children’s cancer wards and it is a symbol of hope to all those currently undergoing therapy, as well as the children who ring it to mark the end of their treatment. Every parent dreams of their child ringing the end of treatment bell from the moment their child is diagnosed with cancer. We’re all working towards that moment when life can return to normal and families can be together again!
