Story
Gaza Appeal:
- Water in Gaza is unfit for consumption and extremely dangerous. 97% of the water does not meet the World Health Organizations (WHO) standards for safe drinking water. It is heavily soiled with salt, dirt and even raw sewage.
- 68.5% of families in the Gaza strip are food insecure, whilst 60% of the population lives in acute poverty.
- Many homes have been brutally demolished by air strikes leaving them displaced and in urgent need. This is sadly the case for tens of thousands of Gazans as they live through a relentless occupation and war.
GRF is on the ground year-round building and restoring shelters for these families. They tile the floors, so they are not just built on dirt, and put up doors and windows, to provide families with a place to call their own.
They provide essential food parcels, containing enough long-life food to last one family an entire month.
The items in these parcels have been carefully chosen to ensure they contain the necessary nutrients to maintain optimum health and they have long shelf lives so they can be used as and when needed and reserved for another time.
By donating today you can make a difference to for the Palestinian brothers and sisters who are in dire need of our support. The money will go towards food packs, public water tanks, building shelters and fuel for hospital generators.
