A small group of us are doing a challenging Coast-to-Coast bike ride in a single day - 16th Sep 2017 - to raise funds for Rainbow Trust Africa in Zambia.

We'll be cycling from Whitehaven on the west coast, to Sunderland on the east. That's 215 km and 11,500 ft of tough climbing over the Pennines!

All funds raised will used for the refurbishment and development of a school, health clinic and other local projects near Livingston, Zambia.

Rainbow Trust Africa works to improve the lives of people in Southern Zambia. Operating from a 12-acre site in Livingstone the Trust was established in 1996 and provides, amongst other things, education for hundreds of children, healthcare to three remote locations and support for destitute grandmothers and their orphaned grandchildren.
