The past year has seen a steep increase in the amount of people becoming reliant on food banks to make ends meet, with Hackney Foodbank seeing

A 66% increase in the number of children and a 110% increase in the number of children ages 0-4 

A 55% increase in the number of people over 65

And and an 80% increase in the number of single parents coming in to the food bank’s service

£10 could contribute towards 10 of Hackney Food Bank’s most needed items

£25 could contribute towards an emergency parcel for one person for three days

£39 could contribute towards an emergency parcel for a family of 3-4 people for three days
