I lost my mum to cancer in 2008, since then I've also lost three friends Clare, Marie and Gavin. I have two friends currently fighting their battles, Alexandra and Maggie.

There was time when I knew no-one who had  battled cancer, now not only do  I know all these lovely people but everyone I know knows someone too. 

Funding Cancer Research is the only way forward, we have to beat this awful disease.
