Story

7 and a bit years ago I started a gap year volunteering for Morning Star Trust, on the boat that my parents has met on. I learned skills and has experiences I could have never dreamed of, and in 2014 met my husband!

At the end of last year Morning Star was decommissioned after 41 years of service to all people who came across her, and Sam and I were able to purchase her to be our first home as husband and wife!

The Morning Star Trust didn't stop with this boat, and are continuing their incredible work with young people on another boat. Work that in this time of unsettled routines and specifically educational expectations is even more vital. Teaching people to work together as a team, to see the value of the individual and to respect our environment.

So, we will sweat and tail and raise our canvas 26 times in support of this incredible charity!
