Despite the official London to Brighton 2020 being cancelled, I have decided to unofficially embark on the challenge of  cycling 55 miles from London to Brighton in aid of CLIC Sargent – the UK’s leading cancer charity for children, young people and their families.

September is childhood cancer awareness month and therefore your sponsorship will provide me with that extra motivation knowing that I am contributing to supporting children from diagnosis, to the impact of the treatment and life after treatment. As a father, it has been heart breaking to hear of stories from peers about their own children having to battle with cancer.

I have taken up cycling only recently, during lockdown and have managed to go as far as 42 miles. London to Brighton will be a huge challenge and will provide me with a huge sense of achievement, especially if I manage to raise my target of £1000 for CLIC Sargent.
