Vasculitis UK provides support, advice and information to those suffering from vasculitis and their families. VUK also sponsors research into the causes and treatment of vasculitis and works to raise general awareness of ALL types of vasculitis. VUK is run by volunteers who all have vasculitis.

Story

In February this year, very suddenly, we lost a very much loved member of our family to ANCA Vasculitis.  Valerie didn’t receive the diagnosis of this rare condition until it had already taken hold of her. We would like to raise awareness and hopefully help other families to receive the life saving diagnosis before it’s too late.

When looking through their mums knitting Valerie’s daughters found many snakes that had been knitted but were waiting to be stuffed and put together.  They decided they would like to complete the snakes in memory of their much loved and missed mum and ask for donations for Vasculitis Uk.

In addition, Valeries son-in-Law and Nephew are planning to fundraise by  running a half marathon in honour of her. The run is due to take place in Thetford Forest on Sunday 20th June.

Thank you for supporting us in memory of Valerie.

Vasculitis Uk is the UK’s number one Vasculitis charity, run totally by volunteers who all have Vasculitis themselves for people with Vasculitis.
