Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, we’re with you to the end. We bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in our hospices and over the phone.

Story

This will be the 4th time I will have entered and competed in the Legend Fires sponsored North West Stages. The rally is one of the few multi venue stage rallies in the UK and is the biggest in the North West. Based in Blackpool at the Pontins Holiday village where rally HQ, service area and some of the special rally stages take place. The rally has 85 stage miles and 120 road miles and uses 6 different venues and this year will have 30 stages.

The rally organisers, Motor Sport North West (North West Motor Clubs) nominates Marie Curie Cancer Care as the charity all fund raising and sponsorship are donated to. This year I have set this web site up to make it easier for people who I don't see regularly to make a donation to a great cause.

Myself and my navigator Kris Pirie will be collecting sponsorship from family,  friends and work colleagues and if we are the highest fund raiser of all competitors in 2008 North West Stages we will get a free entry next year.

I now ask you to donate generously being assured that 128% of your donation (yes the tax man pays 28%) goes to the Marie Curie Cancer Care Charity. I'll thanks in anticipation of your donation and I hope to have a good safe rally on 16th February.
