IMPACT believes that no one should become or remain needlessly disabled through disease, lack of knowledge or shortage of medical services. They take wide ranging action to prevent and treat needless disability in some of the poorest parts of Africa and Asia. IMPACT's vision is a world free from needless disability. Impact operates with ultra low costs with only 9% of funds raised being spent on Administration/Fundraising.
Robin Hope, Impact Trustee, assisted by a hand picked group of maturing oars people is planning to row the 1895 double skiff 'Tara' from Cookham to Whitchurch and back plus Cookham to Henley and back - a distance of about 72 miles and 26 locks to negotiate. This will be completed in June/July 2023.
