Story

In August of last year, while shopping in Rugby town,  I "died" suddenly from a cardiac arrest. Good people rallied around and gave me CPR till the police, land ambulance and air ambulance arrived and eventually brought me back from the "other side".

I was in a coma for 4 days, in hospital for 7 weeks and off work for 6 months. Now I'm back and very much alive and kicking!

I want to thank all the people who saved me and cared for me afterwards -  people of Rugby - and kind people the world over. To do this, I ran a half marathon on 28 Oct 2018. My run symbolises the thanks I want to convey and it will raise money for the air ambulance (which is entirely funded by charity). In this way I hope to help other people in the future.

My goal is at least 1700 pounds because that is the average cost of a helicopter rescue mission. I hope we can raise enough to save another life.

Thank you!
