Update on 20 July 2012. I completed The Hertfordshire Way walk yesterday afternoon (19 July).

The Hertfordshire Way is a 194 mile circular walk within the County of Hertfordshire. The walk consists of 17 legs and I'll be doing the final leg from Codicote to St Albans on 19 July 2012. I have been pleasantly surprised how beautiful the Hertfordshire countryside is - considering Hertfordshire is a relatively small county with a population of over a million and is close to London. I can recommend a walk in the Hertfordshire countryside....

The organisation that I'm hoping to raise funds for is The Hertfordshire Charity For Deprived Children. This is a registered Charity (number 200327) that does excellent work in supporting disadvantaged / underprivileged children within the County of Hertfordshire. You may be surprised that there are pockets of extreme poverty in the relatively prosperous county of Hertfordshire. All of your donations are used to support children who are in most need - the Charity has no overheads.
