I'm Ralph Callan, I'm 7 years old, and will be 8 on 17th March 2022. On the 19th March 2022 I'll be riding my bike between 32 and 40 miles (depending on the route we take) in memory of Grandad Callan and Grandma Callan who both sadly went to heaven before I was born. I know they will be very proud of me for doing this and will be watching me wherever they are.

I will ride my bike from my home in Whitefield all the way to Bacup in order to arrive for 3PM to watch AFC Bury play against Bacup Borough FC. Although I am a Manchester United fan, I also like supporting AFC Bury ever since I watched them play earlier this season. After the game I will ride my bike all the way home again.

I have already started training and have been riding my bike in the pouring rain. I am very determined to complete this challenge.  I also play football for Prestwich Predators and Walshaw Wolves and some of my football friends from Predators might also join me and support the challenge too.

I will visit Bury Hospice before the big day to tell them all about my challenge and to say thank you for caring for my grandparents.
