We help blind and partially sighted people to break down the barriers of sight loss

Story

A familiar face at specsavers in Burnham-on-sea will soon be sporting a new style after he shaves his head in the name of the Royal National Institute of Blind people (RNIB) as part of National Eye Health Week (18-24 September).

Store director and optometrist, Rama Venkat will be braving the shave. The RNIB helps to make daily life better for people affected by sight loss, by being there when you need them. The charity raises awareness both for sight problems and how to prevent them as well as campaigns for better services and a more inclusive society.
