Story

Ramesh Kasaraneni was born in Guntur, India on 29 August 1954.  He graduated from Rangaraya Medical College and moved to the UK in the early 80s.  He trained and worked in many parts of the UK and settled in the North East working as a Breast Surgeon at North Tyneside General Hospital since 1995.  He retired in 2016 and was on a holiday with his wife Sri Valli, in the United States when he became unwell. Ramesh was diagnosed with severe pulmonary fibrosis and he passed away peacefully on 2 July 2017 following a brief battle with the illness.

As an honorary geordie, he supported local health charities through out his career and in view of that, his family would like his friends to direct any contributions to healthcare charities in Northumbria in lieu of flowers for the funeral.
