London Landmarks Half Marathon 2018 · 25 March 2018 ·

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My Dad suffers from Parkinson's so it's only right that I try and raise money to help people with the condition and contribute to raising funds for research into investigating the condition. Some of you may know about my dad's condition and others may be finding out for the first time, he is doing his best not to let it hold him back from living life to the full.

My running journey started in March 2016 and I didn't hang about and went straight into doing a half marathon event in August 2016. I've decided the time is right to try a 1/2 marathon a little further away from home and to raise some money for a charity that means a lot to me.

As you can see from the photo the route is a bit all over the place but hopefully will take in all the landmarks along the way.
