Ruby-Ann's 2nd birthday is the 9th August 2013 but the 9th August 2013 also means something very different to our family now, it's a whole year of us missing our beautiful Ruby-Ann

The devasting illness of Meningitis is still very much in our hearts to fight against and support others going through what our family did last year and what we have continued to go through every day since. Meningitis Trust and in turn Meningitis UK is something we are supporting and will continue to do so for as long we can come up with hair brained ideas to raise money

This year we have decided to do the Midlands Spartan Race, when i say "we" I in fact mean myself Carina, my brother Jack & my partner Stuart. The race will be 12km of gruelling terrain (and if that wasnt enough) we will also be navigating up to 35 obstacles of torture along the way, we are training very hard although as we dont knwo for certain what these obstacles will be we're not entirely sure what we are training for so we are covering all angles (hopefully)

This will be an extremely physically tough day for us but we have much through so much tougher times emotionally recently that we know we can overcome the task.
