In September 2019 Debbie and Kitty, AKA Team Rangelby, will be trekking through 3 countries in 3 days along the world famous Mont Blanc trail visiting Switzerland, Italy and France. We'll be doing this to show our support to Isabel Hospice, an incredible Hertfordshire charity that means a lot to our community and to us personally. 

The Isabel Hospice provide care and support for those who are terminally ill, helping them to live as well and as long as possible, and giving their family and friends much needed guidance, support, counselling, and care. The Isabel Hospice currently care for 1,400 patients and 700 family members.

Debbie's story 

Eleven and half years ago my world was shattered when my mum was diagnosed with cancer. As a family we hoped that she would be given a chance to beat it, but unfortunately this wasn't the case. Although she knew the cancer was terminal I've never seen her fight for life like she did when given her diagnosis. It was with the help and support of Isabel Hospice that Mum was able to enjoy the time she had left with her family, friends, and her much loved doggy Jazz.

Unfortunately Mum only made it 6 months from diagnosis to her passing, but I made a promise to her that I would be a supporter of Isabel Hospice long after her death. As a family we have continued to fundraise for Isabel Hospice, and are thankful for the support and love of our friends in doing so.  

I miss her every day and every step of the way on this challenge she will be with me.
