Dear everyone who found this page, 

I’ve been saying it for years, but I’m finally doing it: I’m cutting (a lot of) my hair off. 

For real this time. 

On Saturday July 1st, I will be cutting off 15 inches of hair and donating it to the Little Princess Trust - a charity that provides real hair wigs for children suffering with hair loss. I’ve decided to make the most of this personal change by (hopefully) creating a more drastic change: raising money alongside for another incredible charity. 

I’m a strong believer that laughter is the best medicine, so it’s with a full heart that I ask you to consider donating to Theodora Children’s Charity.

“Our Giggle Doctors visit children in hospitals, hospices and specialist care centres across England. By combining music, play, magic and storytelling these professional performers bring magical moments to brave children in challenging times. We believe that EVERY sick or disabled child should get the giggles that only a Giggle Doctor can bring.”

I’m hoping to raise (at least) £1500. This would be £100 for every inch of hair I plan to donate. More importantly, it will fund Giggle Doctor visits for (at least) 150 children in hospitals; the chance to bring (at least) 150 children happiness and laughter. 

On Saturday July 1st, my supportive husband has agreed to co-host a charity night with me. The event will be free to attend (with donations encouraged) and any/all money raised will go straight to Theodora Children’s Charity. Adam and I will be singing random cover songs, reading silly poems, rapping, puppetrying, and probably embarrassing ourselves a great deal. Assuming all goes to plan, I will also be cutting off my hair -- onstage, mid-show (!!!).
