We help children with cystic fibrosis to get into exercise & improve their lives

Charity Registration No. 1178063

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking on this challenge in memory of my incredible friend Raquel who died in 2017 to Cystic Fibrosis. Words cannot describe how incredible a person she was. Having worked closely with many Cystic Fibrosis organisations, I sought the expert advice of Raquel’s loving family in order to choose a charity that makes a real difference to peoples lives. Without hesitation they recommended the CF Warriors, a fantastic charity who are passionate about supporting children with cystic fibrosis on their journey to a longer, happier and healthier life. Their mission is to raise awareness of the importance of sport & exercise to every member of the CF community and they have done some incredible work as a result.

The Challenge

In October 2019 me and 6 others (The Sahara Seven) will be trekking 5 days and 80km across the Sahara in Morocco for charity. We will be camping in the dunes, dodging scorpions and navigating by camel intuition.

The Climb4Kim initiative was set up in memory of Kim Rosenfeld to
raise money for several different charities and causes by climbing many difficult and treacherous hills and/or mountains. It has since evolved to tackling deserts and
I thought I'd join in the opportunity to raise money on behalf of my late friend Raquel.
