As some of you may be aware, the last 20 months have been an interesting period. In September 2017 I crashed down a mountain in Chamonix. This left me with a dislocated shoulder, a number of broken surrounding bones, a dislocated leg, the tip of my femur sheared off, a labral tear in the hip and a few other cuts and bruises. After multiple surgeries and a lot of physio I finally returned to the hills in Snowdonia in September ‘18 only to lose the end of my finger upon my return in not so glamorous a fashion (helping lay a friends patio).
So, missing a few pieces (and with a few additional pins & plates) I feel now is a good a time to test my working parts and try and raise some money for those in need.
The last charity event I set up, Sir Ranulph Feinnes kindly acknowledged at The National Geographic Society (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbWFJawkICY) it was a formidable feat and stated he believed not possible in the time I set. We completed the challenge in less than half the record time.
This challenge may be slightly shorter but no less formidable, especially with only a couple of months to prepare. Wish me luck setting this new record and raising as much money for a truly worthy cause!
