The Victoria Cross Trust cleans and maintains the graves of the recipients of the highest award for Valour - The VC - that are not looked after by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. We also ensure that their memories are maintained through educating the public in a variety of different media. Through our network of veterans, to whom we provide support and activities to keep them active and fulfilled, and a network of volunteers we ensure that the 'graves of the brave' are not forgotten. Our charity is small but with a big name and we ensure that our donations are focused directly on our charitable aims and respecting the highest award for Valour - The Victoria Cross.

The Military Garrison of Colchester has its own piece of military history.  In the cemetery lies Edmund Fowler VC.  A rather large unatractive grave, if you didn't know it, you would walk passed and ignore it.  The Victoria Cross Trust wish to change that, by restoring the grave, and implementing an aftercare plan to maintain the quality of the memorial once completed.  This fundraising is part of their operation 1358.  Please, give generously and help me reach my target of £1358.
