Ray 4 Cancer

ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon 2018 · 8 April 2018 ·
Yes, I'm back in fundraising mode to take on another challenge or two. After a lifelong friend got the dreaded C, I've been moved by his courage. Now, another close friend has been given the diagnosis. They are both being treated at the Royal Marsden and I'm fundraising in their honour.
I've already done a few challenges including the Manchester & London Marathons , completed running all the Tube Lines in London, above ground, and ;10-hour 44 mile race, the Lea Valley Ultra (30 miles) and the Cotswold Ultra (44 miles), The Thames Path Challenge at 100km or 62 miles. Istria mountain trail run by UTMB. I was first in my age group - 69km over 7000ft of climbing. In April 2024 I ran the Canyons 100km in Auburn USA. This involved 4000m of climbing...
What Next??
South Downs Ultra (50k) May 25th. And lastly UTMB Finals - OCC in Chmonix August 28th - 3500m elevation gain and 57km distance.
I'm also planning on running the Elizabeth Line (unsupported?) this summer.
Now their story - please read on xx
