Have you heard the one about the father and son building team running a half marathon? Well you have now.....we are running on October 14th for Age UK Barnet, a small independent charity which provides activities and delivers valuable services to the older population in our borough  - they could be our or your parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends and neighbours.

We have been able to see the vital work they do as part of the Age UK network up close since Loraine, Ray's wife and Chris's mum, began working for the charity in 2007.

From exercise classes, IT sessions, lunch clubs and social groups to befriending and the information and advice service Age UK Barnet works tirelessly to challenge issues faced by older people and empower them to make the most of Later Life. It will come to all of us eventually!

Any support you can provide would be greatly appreciated by Age UK Barnet and funds will be used to continue meet the needs of a group often left behind by many.
