Ray Black's Fundraising Page

Dordogne Cycling · 14 June 2008
Many thanks for visiting this webpage.
I am cycling with my son, Jonathan, (mainly of course to chaperone him and prevent any trouble) from 14 – 19 July inclusive (excluding travel days) in the Dordogne. We are hoping to cover some 200 miles by road and a few more by canoe down the Dordogne river.
Jonathan is going to raise money for a charity called Rays of Sunshine which visited his school recently and sufficiently impressed him to select them. He is doing this trip with the school’s blessing and in fact is missing a few days of school which is good incentive for him to complete his task.
I am going along for the ride, literally! But I hope to complement Jonathan’s charitable efforts by matching his received donations with a contribution to Tomorrow’s People, an organisation that SJ Berwin which has been so supportive of me in recent months has selected as its preferred charity in 2008.
I hope then that you can support Jonathan in the knowledge that for every penny you do, it will be matched by me.
Many thanks
Ray
P.S. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor Jonathan: Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor Jonathan now in the knowledge that your money will this time go twice as far and that two charities supporting two very well causes will ultimately benefit.
P.P.S The attached image is almost 4 years old; hence we need an updated one (or more), the other reason for this year's ride!
