Story
Dear friends and family, by now you would have heard the sad news that Ray passed away on Christmas Eve at North London Hospice.
He was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, a rare but very progressive and debilitating illness, in February 2021 although he was displaying symptoms from January 2020. Throughout his illness we encountered many forms of expert help from neurologists to physios, speech and language and respiratory specialists. All of them were unique and amazing and as a family are eternally grateful to these special people for all their dedication and compassion through what was a living nightmare for Ray.
The North London Hospice cared for Ray as he was approaching end of life, the staff were incredible and provided us with comfort and empathy at what was a very difficult time. We would like to thank them for their dedication not just to us but all their patients, therefore we are requesting donations instead of floral tributes. Please follow the link provided to make your donations however we understand that not every one is comfortable with online transactions so a donation box will be available at the funeral.
We miss Ray terribly but his memory will be eternal and forever in our hearts.
