Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are 22 trainee Fire Fighters from Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue service. We are training with Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service in Plymouth and want to raise money to honour the people who lost their lives during the Australian bushfires.

At 1300 on Thursday 12th March where we will be aiming to complete 10 ladder climbs, carrying heavy breathing apparatus, for each of the Fire Fighters and civilians who tragically lost their lives. This should add up to 340 climbs and a total of more than 9km up and down.  Money raised will be used to support the families of victims, establish recovery grants, and purchase building materials, tools and equipment for the recovery process. Please take a look and donate and if you are local to Plymouth come along and provide your support.

We are positive that the people who have been directly affected by the fires massively appreciate any donations. However big or small.

Many Thanks
