My Husband, Rob died on the 29th January due to interstitial lung disease, a complication due to an antibody, MDA-5 linked with an aggressive form of Amyopathic Dermatomyositis, a rare auto-immune disease, after being diagnosed just 3 weeks earlier. Rob received excellent care from Worcestershire Royal Hospital who made sure they collaborated with specialist in the field in Manchester as well as making sure he was made as safe and comfortable as possible. 

Your donation will be going to Myositis UK the only charity that funds research into Dermatomyositis, Polymyositis and IBD. 

GP's and Doctors often miss this disease in the earlier stages due to its rarity and presentation, Myositis UK also works with professionals and funds essential training for them to better understand this complex illness.
