St Mary’s Hospice provides specialised supportive and palliative care for people with life-shortening conditions throughout South Cumbria. Only 18% of our funding comes from the NHS, the rest comes from our supporters. All our services are provided free to patients and their families.

Story

The Evening Mail is launching a campaign to raise £70,000 for St Mary's Hospice in Ulverston.

The charity needs the money to replace an ageing fleet of vehicles that are essential if it is to continue providing its first rate services to people across South Cumbria.

For the money, the hospice can replace seven vehicles it relies heavily upon to provide key services to its patients and carry out vital fundraising activities.

If every Evening Mail reader donated just £2 we would have enough to reach our target.
