The Reading, Wokingham & Districts Branch has supported the local MS community for over 50 years. The Branch covers a large area of rural Berkshire as well as the Boroughs of Reading and Wokingham. We also extend north into South Oxfordshire and south into Hampshire.

We support more than 350 people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), together with their families, friends and carers. Those we support range from the newly diagnosed to those who are more severely disabled.

Services we provide include:

Minibus transport, Holiday chalet, Hydrotherapy, Weekly Drop-in, Provision of computers and training, Support and advice for carers and the recently diagnosed, Grants to improve quality of life

Typically we need to raise around £80,000 each year to provide these services.

From 2015, we will no longer have our largest fundraising event and need to find funds elsewhere to make up for the shortfall, so that we can continue to support people affected by MS in the Reading and Wokingham area
