Deep RiverRock Belfast Marathon 2018 · 7 May 2018 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

The ReaValue project management office at Glen Dimplex has once again assembled an enthusiastic team of friends and colleagues to participate in Belfast City Marathon relay and raise money for The Prince's Trust.

All donations will go directly to the Prince's Trust Northern Ireland to empower young people to turns their lives around.  We really believe in the work of this charity and would greatly appreciate your support!

The Prince’s Trust

The Trust was founded in 1976 as an undertaking dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged young people in the UK.

It offers free training programmes, mentoring and financial support to allow young people to develop their skills, and build the confidence and motivation needed to fulfil their potential.

Many of the young people the Trust's supports are in, or leaving, care, facing issues such as homelessness or mental health problems, or have been in trouble with the law.

More than three in four will achieve a positive outcome, moving into jobs, education and training.

The Trust has returned £1.4 billion in value to society through their help for disadvantaged young people over the last ten years alone.
