Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

On the 22nd April 2018 I will be running 26.2 miles in the London Marathon to raise money for Amnesty International in support of the work they do to promote, protect and defend human rights across the globe.  Having run in support of Amnesty before, I am truly honoured to join their team once again.

One of my friends asked me why I run for Amnesty...its because I really believe in the work that they do and what they stand for. Amnesty International is a vitally important organisation, especially in the world we live in today. Their mission is to tackle the most pressing human rights issues at home and abroad. This includes refugee and migrant rights, free speech and gun violence.

I know that no matter how hard the marathon will be, it is nothing compared to what so many people have to deal with on a daily basis just because of where they were born or what they believe in.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Any amount that you are able to donate, no matter how big or small, is hugely appreciated - thank you all for your support :)
