Story
On the 3rd April 2020 , I will be taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge with a group of my colleagues from NTU. The challenge involves taking on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough (24 miles) in under 12 hours.
The reason why we have decided to take on this challenge is to raise money for a charity called Papyrus, an organisation who are passionate about preventing suicide in young people.
Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under 35 in the UK and it has affected many people we know personally. We want to raise awareness of this cause and provide support to Papyrus to continue their mission to reduce the stigma around suicide and reduce the number of people who take their lives.
Any contribution, no matter how small, can help Papyrus make a big difference.
