I didn't meet Simon properly until his wedding day, even though I knew all about him from Trish, our lovely friend. Their wedding on December 28th 2012 was one of the most intimate, emotional, beautiful weddings that I have EVER been to. I felt honoured to be there with them to celebrate their commitment to each other. It was also THE most fun wedding that I ever been to!

Simon gave an unprepared speech at his wedding which dissolved everyone in the room to tears. It was an unsentimental speech full of love and goodness and humour, without the smallest trace of bitterness for his illness or situation. I realised then what a very special man he was and it is for this reason that we wanted to do something relatively small, but hugely worthwhile, in memory of this very extraordinary person.

Weston Hospice provided Simon and Trish with invaluable support, so please donate whatever you can - no donation is too little - in order that they might continue this great work.
