Leukaemia Care is a national charity dedicated to ensuring that anyone affected by blood cancer receives the right information, advice and support. Around 34,000 people are affected by blood cancer each year in the UK and we're here to support them through their diagnosis, treatment and beyond.

I work as a haematology support worker at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. As a team we use this amazing charity to support our patients who have received a diagnosis. I have met so many wonderful patients who go through such a difficult time, I feel it’s time to challenge myself and give something back to such a great cause.
