Story

Hertfordshire Community Foundation (HCF), an independent charity that supports vital grassroots organisations and volunteering projects working to improve the lives of vulnerable people in Hertfordshire.

For me 'Every Person Matters' and nothing brings me more happiness than trying to help others, I want to help and support my local community and improve the lives of the vulnerable in Hertfordshire. I’d like to play my part and make sure they get help and support to achieve their dreams just as I’ve achieved some of mine.

I’m running the 2019 London Marathon to make a difference to someone’s life. I want to live in a world where we look out for each other, not just the people close to us but anyone who needs a helping hand. Together we can make a difference, together we can do so much. Your donation could help feed a local child, provide a warm meal to a resident experiencing homelessness or help an elderly neighbour stay warm.

As Winston Churchill said 'We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give'.

Every donation given will go towards creating a better life for an individual.

Take a look at HCF and see how they reach out and make an impact to individuals, families and organisations to improve lives.
