Story
I never thought I would run a marathon, and I definitely won't again! This is a one-off, never to be repeated occurrence and I am super excited to be able to run for Shooting Star Chase - a local children's hospice based near where I live. You can read a bit more about them below.
Those of you who know me well, know that things have been busy and challenging over the last couple years, so the marathon isn't just about raising money for a good cause but also investing in some 'me-time' and self care as part of my turning 40 mid-life crisis.
Given I can currently only run about 9 miles - 26 miles seems a massive and somewhat impossible undertaking, so anything you can donate will definitely spur me on through my winter training. Thanks heaps!!!
