St Richard’s Hospice is an independent charity offering free, expert care for adults with an illness that cannot be cured, and support for their loved ones and carers. Each year the hospice team supports more than 3,100 patients, family members and bereaved people in Worcestershire.

Story

On the 7th of October I will be heading off to China to trek parts of the Great Wall to raise money for St Richard's Hospice. I am taking part in this challenge in memory of our Mum, Vivienne England, who died earlier this year. The care and support of St Richard's Hospice allowed Mum to stay at home with her family and those that she loved at the end of her life, and for that I will be ever grateful.

I will be trekking over mountains, open walkways, narrow overgrown paths and hundreds of steps. Staying in local farm houses, then camping one night upon the Wall itself.

I aim to raise over £2000 for the challenge and St Richards Hospice by the 29th July. So please think about my poor feet and dig deep. Thank you :-)
