Dry March · 1 March 2020

Over 1.5 million in the UK have endometriosis and the impact of the disease is for some devastating, yet diagnosis takes on average 8 years. With your donations we are turning this around, raising awareness, providing support and information, supporting research, and campaigning for change.

Story

So why are we taking part in the fresh hell of Dry March (that’s NO alcohol for 31 days!)? Well for anyone with Endometriosis everyday can be and usually is extremely hellish and we want to raise some awareness and a bit of money for Endometriosis UK, who provide vital service for women living with Endo and also support research into the condition.

There is currently no cure and treatments are not well established. The symptoms can be horrific including painful periods, painful intercourse, pain with bowel movements/urination, and extreme pain in general. Current treatments can also have extreme side effects and are very hit and miss.
