In September 2017, Hurricane Maria swept across the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. It is widely regarded as the worst natural disaster on record for the region, and it devastated homes, schools, workplaces and lives. Our own Hilton Team Members were among those affected, and as a family and organisation we want to come together to support them in rebuilding their lives, and putting a roof back over their heads. That is why in April, the Hilton Head Office in Watford is dedicating the month of April to walk/jog/run/swim/cycle the distance from Watford to Puerto Rico - an astonishing 4,200 miles.



As an individual I have pledged 150 miles where I will cycle, swim and run (yes run which I strongly dislike!) my pledged distance across April. I am aiming to raise £1 per mile, and every penny raised will make a difference to our Team Members lives that were devastated in Puerto Rico.
