Calibre Audio is a national charity lending audiobooks to anyone who is print disabled. We believe that everyone deserves to lose themselves in a good book and our audiobook services can be accessed to suit every individual's needs, through streaming, downloads, or USB memory sticks.

Story

This weekend, we are both swimming 14km down the River Thames. We have been training together throughout the year in Basingstoke, as well as the lakes of Reading and Southampton but have been slightly hindered over the past month by exams, and so are hoping that the winter grind will get us through!

We are raising money for Calibre audio books, which is primarily a charity for visually impaired people, but it is also a godsend for those who are unable to read for other reasons such as disabilities and dyslexia. My grandpa, who died from Parkinson's Disease, used Calibre in his last few years, and got great joy out of the service that they offered.

So please support both us and this wonderful charity! A few people have also mentioned they want to come and watch, so the details are below:

6th August @ 8.30am starting at Leander Club, Henley. Finishing hopefully around 1pm in Marlow.
