Hi,

can't believe I am asking people to sponsor me to run 26 miles, I can't usually run for a bus! I can now of course, since I have been  inspired by the work of Birmingham Settlement. If you really want to give to a worthy cause this is it. Bham Settlement works to support individuals,children, young people, adults, families, communities in all kinds of circumstances with a broad range of need. Bham Settlement is totally committed to help reduce poverty and support people to improve their lives regardless of circumstances. But we need you to give as much as possible to help support this work.

If you know me you will know that its quite something for me to be torn away from my domestic duties to devote time and energy to pounding pavements in snow, sleat and gale to build those muscles to endure 26 miles of glory, through my beloved London to support my adopted new home of Brum! All this when I could be sitting at home in the warm with a large bar of chocolate and ignoring the phone! So please give as much as possible and help ensure organisations like Birmingham Settlement continue to support people who are experiencing rough times for whatever reason, and where possible prevent people from reaching their rock bottom by giving a hand as needed. Dig deep every penny helps and huge thank you and I promise never to run a marathon again!!
