At The Climate Group we know that its not always easy getting started in a new career. In fact, it can feel like climbing a mountain. For this reason, weve always been pleased and fortunate to welcome smart, enthusiastic volunteers as interns. But we also recognise that often volunteering is just not an option. Therefore, were establishing a new paid intern program, starting in our London office with interns paid at the London living wage. The aim of the program is for everyone to have the same opportunity to work with us, regardless of background or circumstances and ensure that our interns reflect the diversity of the communities and countries that we work in. To help raise funds for the new intern program, a group of 14 Climate Group staff will be undertaking the UKs iconic Three Peak Challenge in under 24 hours. We hope that you can support us with our challenge and enable us in turn to grow the next generation of climate leaders, thinkers and doers that the world needs.
