Our daughter was born at 28weeks weighing 2lb2oz in Cardiff Heath Hospital in November 2018. We were fortunate enough to have a room in Ronald McDonald House in Cardiff in order to be closer to our daughter in the neonatal unit. The volunteers were always there to talk to and nothing was too much trouble. 

Being able to be so close to our daughter at a time that felt like we couldn't do much for her was the most important thing at what felt like the hardest time of our lives. We are eternally grateful for what Ronald McDonald House charities offer to families, not only in neonatal care but in Childrens Hospitals aĺl over the UK. Having a home from home helped us no end and I dont know how we would have managed without them.  

The pennies that everyone puts in the boxes at McDonalds help so many families!
