The 2Simple Trust helps families of children suffering from neuroblastoma. Help is given by the provision of financial assistance for treatment and other needs as well as the funding of research into the disease. This work will shortly be transferred to a new charity set up specifically for the purpose and called The Neuroblastoma Children’s Cancer Alliance.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Robyn Higgins is a 7 year old girl who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in May 2009. She is a very dear friend of my daughter.

Our brave Robyn has had months of intense chemotherapy, radiotherapy, stem cell harvestingand surgery. Robyn's parents have been told the devastating news that she has 40% chance of survival.

The Higgins family have just a couple of months to raise £300,000. That money would pay for Robyn to receive potentially life saving antibodies at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital in New York.

Please show your support to improve Robyn's chance of survival and raise funds by sponsoring my husband Billi Smith and my brother Lieutenant Isherwood RN.

They will be running in the 10 km Forest Pine Ridge race on 22nd November 2009.
